Photography Package & Service FAQs:

Due to the private nature of medical records, Blake Ferguson Photography will never ask for your vaccination status, nor will discrimination against an individual because of their status.

Blake Ferguson Photography offers flexibility in terms of payments, but as a professional photographer— Blake does not offer a discount on any Photography Service Packages.
Any sales or promotions are provided to subscribers, which is an effort to expand his portfolio in a focused area. You can find promotional updates by subscribing to the Newsletter.
Price-matching between other photography services is not permitted.

For Weddings- 6-12 months in advance is ideal, but not mandatory. Available booking times will populate throughout the interfaces of booking your photography service package. Bookings, projects, and dates are on a first-come, first-served basis, although Blake Ferguson Photography will not book further than 18 months in advance.

After selecting your photography service package via the Service Page, you will then be promoted to select an available date and time through corresponding booking payments.
First, you will be required to pay a booking deposit of 50%, which will be included in the compensation of your final total. Deposits ensure that your photoshoot time and date are locked-in and committed to you.
You can reschedule for another day that fits with Blake Ferguson Photography for additional fees, but after this point, deposit fees are non-refundable regarding an entire cancellation. Please see more details about the corresponding Terms of Service.
Once Blake has received your deposit, he will contact you with confirming details via email- providing the appropriate forms, paperwork, and contracts correlating agreement to your services.
Before eligible to receive any digital Images, the corresponding contracts must be signed while completing final payment of your outstanding balance.

Yes! Blake offers printed add-ons for all photography service packages, and serving those with requests of his fine-art photography. Ranging from wrapped canvas, photo books, and a vast variety of gallery-grade prints. Find Blake’s printed artwork options below.
Photoshoot & Creative Style FAQs:

Session location comes at the complete discretion of the Client, but Blake is always happy to reflect or help guide a decision. Blake has scouted various locations around London, including architecture, urban scenes, and nature-filled paths. Whatever feel or desired mood you are aiming to achieve, Blake will help make it happen!
Please ensure you collect permission from private locations, as Blake will not attend photoshoots in prohibited areas.
If you have a business location, Blake will gladly bring the photo session to you! Please note: travel fees do apply outside of London, Ontario. Please see Travel & Expenses.

The months of April through October are the best for outdoor photo Sessions. If you are willing to have a winter-themed portrait Session in a blissful snowfall, Blake will make it happen!
There is never a wrong time regarding In Studio Sessions. Studio space is booked more often throughout winter months, so bear that while considering the timing of booking your Session.

Wear what captures your essence. Dress naturally—be you! Props are encouraged if they hold significance. Families can wear matching patterns or colors. For headshots and personal branding, wear what fits your profession or brand. For example, doctors might wear a traditional gown and equipment. Learn more about the Photoshoot Experience.

In some Wedding Packages— you may see a secondary shooter included, built into the rate displayed. Otherwise, packages do not offer a secondary shooter unless specified for an additional charge.

Sessions— yes! Blake is happy to guide you through natural posing while remaining comfortable in front of the lens. Subjects will never have to worry about what to do with their hands or feel awkward.
Weddings remain documented as the day, ceremony, and celebrations unravel. Mini-private Sessions take place with those directly involved in the Wedding at a time and setting of your choice. Whether preferred to have a scenic photoshoot with bridesmaids and groomsmen, the choice remains yours.
Blake is happy to take newlyweds to more atmospheric locations or a private photoshoot at a location of their choice- if their best interest is to acquire more posed imagery in ceremonial outfits.
As for weddings— Blake orchestrates a documentary style while capitalizing on the remaining time for posed candids among noteworthy parties such as parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Blake captures moments naturally and does not make the Wedding a paparazzi, red-carpet style photo operation, without any interferences to current events. Blake will establish vantage points and perspectives that keep him out of the way possible while in sight of a great composition where the magical moments take place.

Documentary-style photography is finding the photographs rather than creating them. A photographer with this style will watch events unfold to understand when and where the cherished events happen. Simply— documenting the moment.

While documenting the moment in artistic manners- a hint of mood or nostalgia is to be felt. Every Wedding is different, and the day unfolds differently for everyone. Blake aims to capture the day that re-tells the story aesthetically and accurately.
Capturing tears, laughter, and those nervous hand grasps— Blake wants you to relive your Wedding Day and feel the emotions as you were in the moment. The wedding style orchestrated is like a prepared paparazzi. Coordinating with how the events unfold- Blake is hands-off and captures the natural moments as they unfold.
Wedding Photography FAQs.

Wedding Photography Packages *start at $2,645.00 while considering travel distance, days required, rentals, and additional photographer expenses.

Feeding Blake is not required directly but is ruled into expenses during prolonged Sessions. If able and willing, please let Blake know in advance so the appropriate planning can partake. Blake will not let himself starve and will plan accordingly- however, he always likes to feel included however possible!
Prepare a time for Blake to enjoy a break or snack for Sessions on-site exceeding 4 hours. His job is to capture your memories— not tell you how much he enjoyed the crab bisque or miss candids from stuffing his face. But please remember, Blake is a servicing human being who needs energy, too!
Blake does not have any specific allergies or precautionary conditions. Blake is happy to be as included or as secretive as you choose your freelance photographer for hire to be. Your wedding day is your wedding day— Blake is only there to acquire commercial candids of your special moments.

Blake is happy to be seated anywhere at your event but with an understanding of how hard it must be to conclude a seating plan. Blake recommends placing him as close to the front of the ceremony as possible. Blake does not require seating but prefers a station or area where he can manage photography equipment in a less trafficked area.
Photograph Turn-Around FAQs:

Weddings take longer to process. Fulfilment time ranges from 3-5 weeks, depending on the desired Photography Package.
Regular Sessions, aside from Weddings- you can expect a fulfilment time of 7-14 days or as appropriately listed among Service Packages.
Although fulfilment times are estimates- Blake kindly asks you to remain patient during the post-production process! No RAW Images are ever shared.

Blake edits photos with his creative discretion but is happy to consider your preferences. You can expect most images in full colour, but monochrome images can be provided upon request. Usually, you'll receive a mix, with a majority in colour.

Depending on the Service acquired, the amount of photographs you are to receive will be listed accordingly. The number of photos may vary based on the package of your choice and how long the corresponding coverage is guaranteed. All Images are high-resolution and print-ready for the most ideal and realistic photo prints unless directed for another desired outcome.
You will receive a downloadable folder with seamless access. Although Blake cannot store your complete Images from your photoshoot infinitely, he always recommends saving a copy of your final digital files, and ensures to have a copy backed up for his Lifetime Guarantee.
Tangible Fine-Art products have a longer processing time and sometimes can take up to 2 months for you to receive. Again, this varies on item size and weight. You will receive a tracking ID whenever your items are outbound.
Babies, Newborn & Child Photoshoot FAQs:

Newborns and Children are highly unpredictable. Once you see signs of illness, please let Blake know to reschedule. While regarding our subject and circumstances, leniency bears. Blake wants everyone to feel energetic and at their peak during photo sessions to hold the best memories of the photographs.

Children are sometimes difficult and unpredictable to photograph, indeed! Blake has many tricks to help bring out their personality and be comfortable in front of the lens. If you have concerns about how well your child may perform as a subject during their photo session, please address these matters with Blake in advance.

Fine-Art Photo Print FAQs:

Big retailers use mass production, churning out thousands of identical photo prints. At Blake Ferguson Photography, the focus is on gallery-grade craftsmanship and hand-selected artistry.
