The Fine-Art Photography Spirit.

There’s no questioning Blake’s diverse capabilities and skillset behind the camera—but Blake’s soothing passion has unfolded with street photography, city photography, and the depiction of urban decay.

Blake has grown fascinated by the subject of ‘concrete jungles’ and enjoys bringing street perspectives to form emotion or meaning for the eyes of the beholder. Growing up in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Blake always found being so close, yet so far— to be a vast inspiration with his acquired fascination with street photography. Architectural patterns and graffiti-like markings sparked creative visions, leading to something greater.

“Just like any form of art, the modification of a vehicle is the sculpturing of a blank canvas to depict a form of expression, purpose or evoke emotion.”

With close surroundings and ties forever unfolding in the Custom Car Community — Blake has leaned on event photography and auto event coverages throughout his earliest years. Blake has connected with many car enthusiasts, forming ties, and continuously chased his passion for creating automotive artwork for the car culture. Throughout his dedication to the car scene in Ontario— this Canadian Artist has continued to have a committed affiliation with Strict Standards, a clothing brand based in London, Ontario. Strict Standards aims to spread Japanese Street-style and custom car modifications through an international community. Blake has also had car photography published on Berlin Klassik and led contributions to sprouting communities like 6ixStance.

Each stock vehicle from the factory is like a blank canvas, where these car enthusiasts and peers of street-style ways commit to a long roads of dedication. Piecing together their ultimate vision, showcasing styles they can call their own.

Similarly, car enthusiasts are not shy in expressing themselves and showcasing their artistic mediums, which Blake has always found fascinating and relatable to his core.
