Taking on Quebec for the sense of car culture is always exciting, as it is a step into a more diverse car scene and hands down, the car enthusiasts of Quebec know how to do things. For the second consecutive year, we have been honoured to make the journey while the brother, Behn Ferguson, has been accepted again for a reserved spot in the almighty top 100 with his modified 2000 Volkswagen Jetta MK4 VR6.
While venturing through, as I apologize beforehand, French did not stick in my brain after primary and high school. Though I attempt, I enjoy learning the ways of diverse cultures. Even pulling up to the venue late, we ran into humorous complications where a stand-off occurred, where neither of us knew what we were saying and a translator was required.
Through an exciting two-day event, the creative opportunities and compositions ran endlessly, jam-packed full of 100 custom cars, through to those that come and go throughout the two days. Eurokracy has been the most challenging in processing car show coverage in post-production. No complaints— as I do not state that more is merrier, it relates in this case to the extensive showcase demonstrated by Eurokracy.
With over 150+ final photographs captured at this auto show event, a week was appropriate to turn these automotive photographs over. Hence the name of the car show event— it primarily extends to European-based project cars, but a handful of flavourful modified JDM cars turned up, and I had to show my love, as well.
The Eurokracy 2017 Experience
What is the Eurokracy Car Show All About?
The car culture of Quebec is well-known for its dedication and enthusiasm. The aftermarket culture of this province orchestrates unique market dynamics, which include a preference for European-style vehicles, contributing to a vibrant automotive scene. Events like Eurokracy celebrate this passion, uniting a community that values craftsmanship, identity, and togetherness.
Every summer, Eurokracy transforms the ICAR Motorsports complex in Mirabel, Quebec, into a vibrant celebration of European automotive excellence. Scaling into a renowned car show event in Canada, tied by European Routes, Eurokracy came together in 2010 to unite petrolheads across North America.
ICAR Mirabel, situated on the former runways of Montréal-Mirabel International Airport, offers a unique setting for motorsport events. The facility boasts a 3.4 km road circuit, a 1/4-mile drag strip, drift tracks, and karting circuits, making it an ideal location for high-octane activities.
Eurokracy is not just for car connoisseurs; it is a family-friendly car show with activities for all ages. Children under 12 enjoy free admission, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. This auto show features a variety of attractions, including car exhibitions, competitions, and interactive demonstrations, ensuring a fun-filled day for the entire family.
Why do I recommend Eurokracy for anyone and everyone?
Whether a dedicated petrolhead, automotive media or one who knows nothing about vehicles, you will be fascinated by modified capabilities while learning about the latest European makes and models on the market.
