Coast to coast, baby- as a freelance photographer and graphic designer, the feelings are superb when paving the way for success- but especially when the visuals are absorbed.


Working closely and heavily invested in the potential that this independent clothing line has held since 2018, the growth has been steady. The general excitement of being involved in start-up brands, companies, or small businesses while watching them flourish— exceeds words. You would not believe it either, but almost so heavily— I find neglect in dedicated time for projects of my own.


From London, Ontario to California, United States— Strict Standards Streetwear spreads turf all across the USA. Bringing you consistent Strict Standards updates— we have another successful tasking of post-production for this clothing line while infusing my secondary specialty of Graphic Design. Let me introduce you to those unfamiliar with the iconic streetwear brand arising in London, Ontario.

What is Strict Standards Streetwear?

A small, visionary brand backed by automotive routes and Japanese street style, this brand spreads stand-out style and self-expressing flavour worldwide. This brand breaks boundaries between both aspects of their curated custom cars and clique members, followed by their line of streetwear apparel. Uniting car culture from hardcore technicians to automotive media like myself, the primary connection among like-minded enthusiasts while celebrating the chase for one common goal: Only the Finest aftermarket parts and executing unique stand-out street style.


Most known for their Eye-Popping Release, showcased here today- the release that has left their large-scale audience itching for more. The Challenge—

Although the content provided was adequate in correlation to the guidelines proposed, the Strict Standards Team felt they needed some UMPH and professional refurbishing. What better way than with my post-production and photo editing capabilities? I have a habit of taking things too far regarding my creative edits and the display of perfection. With many layers and adjustments— sometimes images are never complete as they are.



Receiving only JPG files— I was nervous starting post-production as my fellow photographers and graphic designers know that sometimes, JPGs lead to dangerous edits. Given the frames at hand, I realized their potential and set out to make adjustments as discreetly as possible to preserve the quality of the files. Smoothening basic adjustments such as exposure and levels— I set forward on Photoshop for the more fine adjustments. With the required crops, I also implemented some tonal variations as to a series I have been working on lately— those who follow along with my social media are familiar with the development behind Golden Tones. With some commercial editorial practices— I gave Kimberly a little freshening-up while implementing a lens flare to bring more attention to the subject.


While this Lifestyle Photosession did not end here- through the endless creativity of my interconnection and graphic design capabilities of bear street style, it did yield hypebeast-infused results.
