I cannot lie- there is nothing quite like the feeling of a successful outing capturing urban and street photographs. Itching to get out and capture— it always comes to the point of winter ending, and where it stretches on, my fatigue and lack of vitamin D weigh heavier and heavier. Thankfully in March it was warm enough for an outing to explore, capture and create mood-chilling fine-art images.

Where we were headed today in London, Ontario, did not amount for lone-wolf excursions because those who reside locally most likely know it would not be ideal to ponder around and inside the premises alone with my Sony A300 camera.
Adventures like this are always rememberable, where hours pass studying the grunge and grit-like atmosphere throughout the abandoned McCormick Factory on Dundas Street. I won't go too heavily into detail- as I later stitched together short-form videos for social media to relive this experience. Furthermore, I can only hope this building remains structurally intact for a bit longer. As long as we lurked in the shadow-filled maze of concrete and glass structures, plenty of scenes and ground pending discovery for even more photograph ideas.

Furthermore, there has been a lot on my plate— and only in positive ways, with a laid-back update and the excursions at hand- I hope you can find a therapeutic release for the fine-art images captured and created. It is not every day I get to capture photographs of this medium, where it may have been an unwelcoming environment altogether- for a hobbyist photographer, it was a grand escape— like an amusement park for artists.
