Putting on for Canadian Car Culture as a hobbyist photographer— you already know! I am excited to announce another collection of car show and auto event coverage, absorbing the routes of what felt like home base.
Tightly knit vibes lingered at large as Vagkraft hosted for another year at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area. Feeling like home base, as Behn Ferguson continues enthusing the German routes behind his modified 2000 Volkswagen Jetta MK4 VR6 — this was my first experience throwing down automotive photography at a car show predominantly tailored to vehicles of European origins.

A funny story for fellow car enthusiasts and automotive photographers. While rolling out alongside Behn Ferguson and Jon Hoseman, we attempted to capture motion during the rollout. Jon Hoseman owned a static Volkswagen Golf MK4 at the time, which I always imagined would be the best place for composing rollers, taken from the back of his hatchback's trunk.
In an attempt to capture Behn and his modified 2000 Volkswagen Jetta MK4 VR6, it was tricky, but we made it work. However, the unpaved roads led to a disaster, as there was no way to strap down or use a seatbelt while sitting in the trunk of his hatchback.
Jon and his stiff static suspension encountered a large bump, where Behn had the opportunity to witness me flying out of the back of the hatchback, one hand grasping firm to my Sony A300, while the other attempting to break my fall. Thankfully, I remained in one piece with minor scratches, where the Sony A300 proved its sturdiness without a single dent left.
